The highly anticipated movie of Thai actors Bright Vachirawit and Win Metawin, "2gether:The movie" , supposedly slated for release this coming April 22, has been postponed.
In an announcement made by GMMTV, the home network of the popular BL couple #BrightWin and producer of the said movie, due to the increase in CoVid19 cases in Bangkok and other areas, they decided to postpone the showing of "2gether:The movie", including the scheduled press conference on April 20 for the safety of the fans and their artists.
Bright and Win are currently on a 14-day quarantine after being exposed to someone who tested positive of CoVid19. The management already subjected the two artists to a swab test and both results came out negative. Though fans have been waiting for the return of Sarawat and Tine, they expressed gratitude to the management for prioritizing the health of everyone involved. GMMTV stated that rescheduled dates of the showing and presscon will be announced as soon as possible.
Thailand is imposing stricter health protocols anew after a sudden surge of new CoVid19 cases in the past month. On Monday, the country registered its record-high number of new cases with 985 new infections.
2Gether:the movie is being described as a culmination of #2gethertheseries and #still2gether, with additional scenes that will definitely put into perspective the relationship between Sarawat and Tine, the two main characters. The two series, based on the novels of Jittirain have been considered a "security blanket" of most fans amid the on-going pandemic. They've treated Sarawat, Tine and the other characters as part of their lives, drawing inspiration in them.
Even after almost a year since #2gether the series and the five special episodes of #still2gether were aired, they continue to dominate online streaming channels. It was also through these two series that the world met and fell inlove with BrightWin. Bright and Win are considered two of the hottest and most in-demand product endorsers not just in Thailand but also in other Asian countries. In fact, they've done several product endorsements already here in the Philippines.
Aside from acting, Bright and Win are also certified recording artists with songs topping the music charts immediately after their released.
